We have been pretty busy and productive here at P.E. specially with our fantastic Dance Schools.....But we have been having some fun as well! Check out the pictures below... (P.S. We always knew Doug had ‘special powers’ but now we have proof!)
Doug has been flying all over the place dropping off and picking up pictures, running errands, editing pictures and basically saving the world...no big deal ;-)!
Sometimes it's nice to be in front of the camera for once.... Sandy and the P.E. staff LOVE all our dancers!! Keep up the good work girls and guys!
Laura- new to the dance world, is a bit confused between what a plie and a leap is...but she is learning! (By the way, how awesome are those mismatched socks? :-P )
We would also like to take a moment to thank all the wonderful dance teachers, mom and dads, volunteers and staff at each school for letting us capture your dancers smile. We truly have a blast at each school and cannot thank you enough for all the support and help you give us! Thanks a million!

Photographic Elegance was delighted to recently be part of the UNCC Fashion Show to benefit raising money to fight CANCER! We were there on behalf of Jennifer Murphy, designer with Alta~Cation, photographing her models in her clothing designs. The UNCC campus made a beautiful backdrop as I scouted different areas to show off the many different looks that Alta~Cation creates! Way to go Jeniffer! The designs were stunning!
We have been delightfully busy here at Photographic Elegance and wanted to take a mini-break to update you on some things that have been happening around here....
As many of you know, spring time is filled with flowers, warm air, trees in bloom and duckling's hatching. Well we are just "quacking up" here at P.E. and are taking advantage of the new studio! On Sunday, March 25th, we hosted the a very special event- Baby Ducks! 20 adorable and fuzzy little ducks were here at the new studio location just awaiting all the kids to play with them in front of two different backgrounds/set-ups we have. Our sets included one with a boat where you can play with the baby ducks along side flowers and umbrellas. Our second set is designed for the barefoot and casual adventurer with a wooden cart and the baby ducks along for the ride! Needless to say, some of the younger ones were a bit shy around the "quackers" at first but by the end of the shoot all was well! We had so much fun....but it sure was a workout trying to wrangle up 20 ducks! Take a look at some of the adorable pictures from the shoot:
Spring also involves DANCE FEVER and we are full of it! Dance season is in full swing here at P.E. and we are enjoying taking pictures of such talented young boys and girls. We look forward to seeing more of your leaps, splits and jumps in the up and coming months.
Saturday, March 17th, was a big night in Mooresville at the Blue Jean Ball held at Dale Jr. Motorsports. The benifits given by Tripple Cross Ranch raised money to help needy children attend functions and camps at the ranch. Fun was had by all and the tears flowed with gratefulness! Some really cool cowboy boots and blinged up jeans were shown off on the dance floor accomanied by some awesome dance moves courtesy of the Soul Circus Cowboy band from Tampa, Florida. In all, it was a night full of silent auctions, pictures, dancing and good times.
